Tuna-Stuffed Cherry Peppers – A Gourmet Puglian Appetiser

Our sweet cherry peppers, planted in May, are distinguished by their round shape and delicate flavour. They are hand-picked at the end of August, at the peak of ripeness, when they develop their characteristic deep red colour. Immediately after harvesting, they are processed fresh: the stalks and seeds are removed by hand, then the peppers are left to rest in water and vinegar to enhance their texture and flavour.

Each pepper is then stuffed by hand, one by one, with carefully selected, top-quality ingredients: tuna and capers from Racale, grown in our family caper field, an outstanding Puglian product recognised by Gambero Rosso.

Perfect served as a ready-to-eat appetiser, ideal for gourmet platters, aperitifs or quality food gifts. Our tuna-stuffed cherry peppers bring the very best of Southern Italian tradition to the table.

Ingredients: “Cherry” peppers (40.5%), sunflower oil, TUNA “Katsuwonus pelamis” (10%) (origin: Ecuador), capers (7.3%), extra virgin olive oil, sugar, dextrose, thickener E412, starch, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, unrefined sea salt.
