Senatore Cappelli durum wheat friselle, 100% from Puglia, are the perfect choice for a quick lunch or dinner, full of flavour and in keeping with the Apulian slow food tradition. Crunchy and fragrant, they are ready in just a few moments: simply moisten them lightly with water and add your favourite toppings.

They are delicious in the classic version with extra virgin olive oil, fresh cherry tomatoes and oregano, but can also be topped with vegetables preserved in oil, burrata or stracciatella, tuna and capers, or vegetable spreads for simple yet flavourful variations.

Made with stone-ground Senatore Cappelli durum wheat, our Apulian friselle offer an intense aroma and a rough texture, typical of products prepared according to tradition. They are made using time-honoured methods: hand-cut with string and baked twice in a wood-fired oven, following the farming and maritime traditions of Puglia, which ensured long shelf life and convenience.
